About Our Club
"Bringing the Dome to the Desert" The Notre Dame Club of Phoenix is a volunteer-run, local chapter of the Notre Dame Alumni Association serving the Phoenix metropolitan area as well as central and northern Arizona. Serving alumni, current students and their parents, as well as friends of the University, the Notre Dame Club of Phoenix serves as the University's ambassador to the Valley of the Sun. The purpose of the Club is to promote solidarity and friendship among grauates, former students and friends of the University of Notre Dame by encouraging the perpetuation of the same ideals which Notre Dame men and women have been taught to uphold while students at the University. The Club raises money for student scholarships, supports several charitable organizations, organizes a variety of social events, supports Irish athletic teams when they play in the area, holds Club masses, sponsors continuing education seminars, and helps inform prospective students about the University. The Club is run by the Officers and Board of Directors and is organized into several committees known as the "6 Cs:" Camaraderie, Catholic Spirituality, Communications, Community Service, Continuing Education and Current Students. A seventh committee, Career Networking, has recently formed. Additionally, the Club also has events geared toward Young Alumni, Senior Alumni and the West Valley.
